Bud Rue Memorial Fund for Social Justice
Approximately the number of walkers depicted in the photo shown below strolled the Narrowsburg flats collecting pledges for the Bud Rue Memorial Walk for Social Justice.
This year's walk, scheduled for Sunday, October 25, 2026, will follow the fellowship's weekly worship service which begins at 10:15 am in Room 102 of the Narrowssburg Union. A potluck lunch will follow at the office of The River Reporter newspaper, at 93 Erie Avenue.
Contributions will actively be collected through the spring, after which 100% of the proceeds will be presented to the following local agencies, providing vital direct services to anyone in need.
- Growing Older Together of Wayne and Sullivan Counties
- Habitat for Humanity of Wayne County
- Sullivan Allies Leading Together
- Victims Intervention Program of Wayne County
